Inspiration...

Like the idea of solo violin but not sure how it might fit into your wedding?
Here are some ideas to inspire you with music suggestions for different kinds of weddings.

Church Weddings

Churches have wonderful, resonant acoustics - which is perfect for solo violin. The sound will carry and fill the whole space.
Go for religious classics such as 'Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring' and 'Ave Maria'; violin covers of pop songs such as Wildest Dreams, Can’t Help Falling In Love or film and Disney favourites!
I can also work alongside a church organist if you want to have traditional hymns with the organ.

North East Weddings

As you are getting married in the beautiful North East of England, why not include some traditional music from the area? There are romantic melodies such as 'The Waters of Tyne' and 'Bonny At Morn', or more upbeat fiddle tunes like 'The Steamboat Hornpipe'.
These would sound beautiful solo, or more lively and upbeat with acoustic guitar accompaniment.
Songs by North East artists such as Going Home, Fields of Gold and Every Breath You Take are also popular.

A Castle Wedding

We have some spectacular castles in the North East, many of which are wedding venues. The sound of a solo violin can conjure up images of times gone by!

If you're a Harry Potter fan you could hear 'Hedwig's Theme' played on location in Alnwick Castle,
or selecta mix of classical, folk, pop and film music to keep your guests  entertained during a drinks reception or wedding breakfast.
